Jiao Wei INTRO
My name is Jiao Wei, and I am a student from Jining, China, which is known as the birthplace of Confucianism. Therefore, as someone from Jining, I have been deeply influenced by Confucian culture, and treating others with respect and integrity is my guiding principle.
My strengths lie in being honest, enthusiastic, and having a resilient personality. I believe that integrity is the foundation of one's character, so I always strive to keep my promises and fulfill my commitments on time. Whether it's meeting classmates or teachers, I always make it a point to arrive at the agreed-upon location punctually, even if I encounter urgent matters, leaving a lasting impression on them. Due to my warm and sincere demeanor, I have always had good relationships with classmates and teachers from a young age, and I am well-liked by those around me, establishing deep friendships with many classmates.
I consider my biggest weakness to be impatience for quick success and instant gratification. I tend to try learning many things at once, but often end up not mastering any of them thoroughly, which leaves me feeling exhausted. Reflecting on this now, I realize that this approach is not ideal; quality is more important than quantity. If I were to focus on one subject for a period of time, I believe I could gain a deeper understanding and mastery of that knowledge. Therefore, I look forward to overcoming this impatience during my university life.
Entering university signifies endless opportunities, a chance to conquer new domains. I aim to enrich my university life by developing my skills and learning from those who excel beyond me. When encountering others' shortcomings, I will reflect on whether I possess similar flaws and work on correcting them. Continuously improving myself will ensure that I have no regrets during my university journey.
Finally, at UKM University, I aspire to shed my immaturity while retaining my innocence and passion. I hope to build good relationships with both teachers and classmates and continually strive for progress.
